Field Trip To The Fire Station

Sometimes I have to be called into “Mom” duties. Probably more so than most Dads since I am always around. This week I had to step in as my wife and daughter were on a girls trip to Disneyland. So I had to chaperone my son’s kindergarten class on a field trip to the fire house along with all the other Moms. It was my first field trip and it was an interesting experience.
The firehouse was fun but a little disappointing. First it is small. It can only sleep 3 people. It is like a small apartment rather than a firehouse. Also no pole to slide down. It is a one story building. It also did not have a Dalmatian. Still the fire trucks and the hose demonstration was cool and the kids enjoyed it.
