Besides using focus group surveys to pick up some holiday spending money, there is a easier way to earn some money, bank bonuses. I have shared some in the past, but here are some you can do to pick up a few bucks before Christmas.
Etrade: $25 bonus for opening an account with a $1 minimum deposit. Go here for details. They also pay 5.05% on your deposit.
Sharebuilder: Use this link to open an a Sharebuilder account thru Costco and get a $55 bonus. You can net about $50 on this offer, and you can do it for everyone in your family. I wrote about this offer before, so check out the instructions.
Wachovia Bank: Another offer I wrote about previously, but still valid. Open an account for $100, and get a $50 bonus.
Bank of America: If you do not have a Bank of America account, you can open one up here, and get a $100 bonus. Minimum deposit is $100. Offer expires 1/31/08
It usually takes 30-60 days before you get your bonus. Print out the offer, and follow up with customer service if you do not see it credited to your account after 60 days.
Free Money Tip: You can do most of these offers online, and it will only take a few minutes to compete the application. Here is a way to speed up the process. Download a program called Roboform. The free version works fine. Roboform helps store all your password and personal information, so when you are filling out an online application or form, all you have to do is make one click and it enters everything for you. Using Roboform, you can fill out 3 or 4 application in just minutes.
If you are able to take advantage of the above offers, you can pick up $225 in about 10 minutes. Not enough retire on, but good holiday cash.
