Mascots Out of Control

As we start another weekend of college football, let’s remind our mascots to behave themselves. The Oregon Duck mascot got into a fight with the Houston Cougar mascot a few weeks ago, and got himself suspended for one game. It looks like a staged fight, but the duck escalated it and got out of control. I like the WWE elbow drop. The cougar showed amazing restraint in not retaliating and turning the other cheek, but took a pounding. I heard the cougar is a girl which might explain the cougar’s self control. If the cougar fought back harder, it could have got more ugly. Hopefully, we will have a violence free weekend between the mascots. Here is the video.
