Cal vs. Tennessee

The highlight of the Labor day weekend was going to the Cal-Tenn football game. Cal was anxious to avenge last year’s blowout in Knoxville and to start the season on a high note. It was also the only game between ranked teams this weekend with the #12 Bears vs. the #15 ranked Volunteers. This is the third year I have been going to the games with my son Marcus. We started going to the football games and spring training when he was just 3. It gets easier each year as his attention span grows. Following my advice on traveling with kids, I will write a post soon on going to sporting events with small children. A late five o’ clock kickoff made for some sleepy moments at the game and for the rest of the weekend, but we had a good time celebrating a big Cal victory. Go Bears.
